Duster jacket from MakeMeChic.com

I don’t know about you, but I am so DONE with winter. Though I am not a fan of the snow and slush in March, this month is usually where you start to see light at the end of the dark winter tunnel, which not only means warmer days, but maybe also a shift in your wardrobe! This duster jacket from online retailer MakeMeChic is a great winter to spring transition piece, and this warm orange tone is a nice a pop of colour during these cooler times.

I don’t usually wear or own any orange (see warning below), but I was able to style this piece quite easily. This colour complements my brown leather satchel and goes perfectly with one of my favourite scarves. Though you can wear this jacket with or without a scarf, I really feel like this small piece completes the look.

Warning – On the website the material for this piece looks and is marked as brown suede. As you can see, in reality it is quite orange and I wouldn’t necessarily call the material suede either… Though I like this piece, I was initially disappointed since this was not what I was expecting to receive. Always remember to be careful and read reviews when you are ordering clothing online!
